Wethersfield Barracks must close!
People housed at RAF Wethersfield and the Bibby Stockholm are separated from the surrounding population by barbed wire, guards and ring-fences. For the year since they opened, we have witnessed the harmful effects of the prison-like sites on residents' mental and physical health.
The Government has done the sensible thing and not renewed the Bibby contract. Now they need to do the decent thing and close Wethersfield.
- The barracks must close.
- Wethersfield barracks must halt all new arrivals immediately.
